Arnasea is built on a simple principle: your data belongs to you, and stays with you. This policy explains what we do — and, more importantly, what we don’t do — with your data when you visit arnasea.fr or use the mobile app.
1. Data controller
The data controller is Albert Barsamov, sole proprietor, 1 place de la Chapelle, 64600 Anglet, France. Contact: hello@arnasea.fr.
2. Data collected on the website
This website sets no non-essential cookies, contains no tracking tools (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Hotjar, etc.), and requires no account creation.
The only technical data processed is what is necessarily transmitted during any web connection, via our host Vercel:
- IP address
- Browser and device type (User-Agent)
- Page requested, date and time of the request
This data is processed by Vercel for security, abuse prevention, and technical operation of the service (legal basis: legitimate interest, GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). It is not used by Arnasea for profiling or marketing.
3. Data collected by the mobile app
The Arnasea iOS app stores your session history locally on your iPhone. Nothing leaves the device without explicit action on your part.
- No user account is required.
- No email address is requested.
- No health data is sent to our servers.
- In-app purchases (Pro subscription) are handled exclusively by Apple. We do not access your payment details.
4. Data recipients
The technical data mentioned above is processed by:
- Vercel Inc. (hosting), in the United States, under the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and Data Privacy Framework certifications.
- Hostinger (email service), for messages sent to hello@arnasea.fr.
No data is sold, rented, or shared for advertising purposes.
5. Retention
- Vercel technical logs: kept per Vercel’s policies (typically up to 30 days).
- Emails received at hello@arnasea.fr: kept for the time needed to process your request, then archived or deleted.
- App session history: kept on your iPhone until manual deletion or app removal.
6. Account & data deletion
You can delete your data at any time, with no need to contact us:
- From the app: open Settings → Account and tap “Delete account”. This permanently erases the account and any history synced to our servers.
- Local session history (the default storage) is wiped instantly when you uninstall the app — nothing remains anywhere else.
- By email: if you cannot access the app, write to hello@arnasea.fr from the address tied to your account. We action the request within 30 days at the latest.
Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. No backup is kept after the request is processed.
7. Your rights
Under GDPR, you have the following rights:
- Right of access
- Right to rectification
- Right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”)
- Right to restriction of processing
- Right to data portability
- Right to object
- Right to lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority (CNIL) or your local supervisory authority
To exercise these rights, write to hello@arnasea.fr. We will respond within one month at the latest.
8. Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Data in transit is encrypted. We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to prevent unauthorized access — but no system is infallible. In the event of a data breach affecting your rights, we will notify you in accordance with GDPR Article 34.
9. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated. The last-updated date appears at the top of the page. Substantial changes will be announced on the website.
